It’s Pompkin spice
And everything nice
That’s how we like our cocktails!

Hello Darling! We find ourselves again in that curious time of year. Those last lingering days of summer when we’re restlessly hot and bothered, yet somehow strangely warm and fuzzy. Wistful refreshment comes in the form of pumpkin spice and everything nice because for a few short weeks, that’s what the world is made of. So, in honor of PSL season, here are three of our favorite sips to wet your lips, because well, that’s what fall happy hours are made of!

Rings and jings and other fine things; that’s what young women are made of! And young metropolitan women will surely love this fall gin-tonic, which has been dressed up for its seasonal debut in all its autumnal finery.

FALL POMP & TONIC

1 ½ oz Pomp & Whimsy Gin Liqueur
3 oz tonic
star anise, pomegranate seeds, orange slice

Pour Pomp & Whimsy into a goblet or red wine glass filled with ice. Top with tonic and dress with 1-2 star anise, a small handful of pomegranate seeds, and an orange slice.

Pipes and smoke and collars choke; that’s what our fathers are made of! Why not propose a toast to yours with this elegantly refined gin old-fashioned, featuring sweet-savory cardamom bitters and a zesty grapefruit twist? Gin-gin!

MOD-FASHIONED

½ oz Pomp & Whimsy Gin Liqueur
1 ½ oz gin
¼ oz simple syrup
1-2 dashes cardamom bitters
grapefruit peel

Add Pomp & Whimsy, gin, simple syrup, and bitters to a mixing glass and fill halfway with ice. Stir until chilled and strain into a double old-fashioned glass over a large ice cube. Garnish with an over-sized grapefruit peel, gently twisted to release its aromas

Ribbons and laces and sweet pretty faces; that’s what our mothers are made of! Luckily, it’s not just pretty faces but also pretty serve ware that we have our mothers to thank for. We suggest pulling out the porcelain for this delightful chai-spiced toddy and mixing up tea for two. Just as agreeable served hot or cold.

INDIAN SUMMER TODDY

1 ½ oz Pomp & Whimsy Gin Liqueur
3 oz fresh brewed Indian chai tea
¼ oz simple syrup
1 dash orange bitters
orange slice

If serving hot, pour the freshly brewed tea into a teacup and add the Pomp & Whimsy, orange bitters, and simple syrup. Stir and garnish with the orange wheel. Alternatively, serve chilled over ice in a highball.
